This didn’t exactly happen near me, but did anyone catch the outdoor game between the Penguins and Sabres? Awesome! How come Canada doesn’t have any similar venues? It’d be wild to go to a game.

Didn’t they have a game with a bunch of old-timer Oilers not too long ago?  I remember that they were playing outside and the commentators kept saying how the cold was slowing down the players and that everyone looked like they were freezing… both fans and players alike.  Meh, give global warming another decade and no one’s gonna have an outdoor rink.

That’s right. It’s a shame. If the game’s going to be played, it should be done right. Especially on home ice. Looks like we’ll have to invent water hockey next.

Or… roller hockey… also known as road hockey… it’s only been around for a few decades though.
