Brood does look goth....

but I think he only LOOKS goth because he’s been living for like more than 100 years!

No offence to anyone but his fights weren’t quite Jacky Chan or Bruce Lee.I thought he was a martial arts expert, so he has to have some kind of cool stunt.

I don’t know. I think his fight in episode two was pretty good. However, I think the big problem is that the fights aren’t shot properly. And cutting back and forth from all the fights leaves the audience kind of confused.

Sometimes I think the structure of the scenes could be more planned and the shots should be more clear and less shakey.

i think val and brood are a hilarious match!!! they say opposites attract and I agree!! i think he loves her anger..and she loves how broody he is! they are attracted to one another because they have such different personalities..i agree in saying that i think they can bring out the opposite in one another and then hopefully they can both be more balanced as ppl which would probably make them better heroes!! i think they could really help one another and thats why they had that instant bond!
come on they have been playing up this attraction for a while...somethings got to happen!! and i hope its explosive!!! cant wait to see the advancements in episode 3!! either it could come really fast with those two..or they could be the new ross and rachel? anyone?

I LOVE the idea of this character and could totally see a spin off series or origin story.

Master Brood… What can I say about this character?

He’s wonderful. It’s clear that his character has room to grow and that he is an integral character within the plot of the series. However, it would be nice to see more about him conforming within the world around him (a la epsidoe 1), it offers leagues of hilarity.

His sexual tension with Val is great and not growing too fast. Always leaving more for viewers to come back to. Hope they don’t jump the gun on this one.

I think the fact that he’s an Emo character in the year 2008 is enough to show that he’s trying to conform to today without having to overdo it with the character. He is a great character, I agree. I’m looking forward to more back story. I’m also really looking forward to the relationship between him and Val.

Superman

I always figured he wore makeup to display his angst.... Is he just pale?

Probably makeup. Almost no one could be that pale. That is because his skin is as pale as ghosts like one of thoughs in a book called"30 tales to give you goosebumps”.

Well, we get to see him in his sleeping attire (such as it is) in the first part of episode 2. I think that’s the way he looks all the time. Because if he’s sleeping in the makeup (if it is makeup) and it isn’t mussed-up, you end up thinking that’s just the way he looks. Honestly, I don’t see him putting on makeup just to be sitting around discussing Omniscient’s Dream/Nightmare.

And yes, I don’t think he’s right for Val, either… if only because I find him personally very attractive myself. Is it supervillainish to want him for myself (even if only in my dreams)? I hate to poach someone else’s man, even in my fantasies.
