Epic Hero Challenge
The Epic Hero Challenge will allow YOU the viewer to pick the next great Canadian Superhero!! Choose from a collection of designs being developed by students from a local Toronto Elementary School. The students will reveal each week (friday) the new superheroes that you will be able to choose as the best Hero to join Team Epic on their journey. Revisit the site from Feb 1 - Mar 15 to vote who is the coolest, next best Epic Hero to appear on the show!! All prizes being provided by Hero Certified Burgers at 79A Yonge Street.

Biography:
Born in Prince Edward Island in 1992, Blood Shadow was the youngest one in his family. His mother was a teacher and his father worked for the S.W.A.T. team. Blood Shadow had a mother, a father and one brother. His brother always bullied him. His brother also wished to be a villain one day, except Blood Shadow wanted to be a part of team Epic. That’s the reason they always fought.
Blood Shadow’s great grandfather was one of the Micmacs who first lived in P.E.I. then in 1534; Jacques Cartier was the first to discover the island. After the English took over the island, they kicked the farmers out of the island and one of the farmers was Blood Shadow’s great grandfather.
When Blood Shadow was fifteen, his name was Justin. When he turned sixteen he got another name. That name was Blood Shadow. It was because of a wish. A wish that changed everything for Justin. He wished to have super powers and to be a part of team Epic. On that night he went to bed. He then started to sweat a lot, and he was shaking badly. It even looked like it was a sickness.
It was morning and he felt kind of light and when he looked into the mirror, he saw that his eyes were kind of reddish. So he walked downstairs to eat breakfast and he noticed he walked faster than usual. After when Blood Shadow was done eating everything he went outside for a run. He then started to run very fast. He also noticed that he could run faster than a normal car could go and could run one street to another in five seconds. Since he knew he had super speed he thought there might be another power for him, so he tried to transform into another person. Blood Shadow tried to transform into his brother. It actually worked! Since he knew he had these powers, he tried out for team Epic. Soon after discovering he had super speed, super strength, and the ability to transform into other humans, he discovered that he had heat vision. He also found out that he couldn’t use his heat vision around metal, and he could only transform into HUMANS, nothing else.
Knowing that his great grandfather was treated badly by the ones who took over P.E.I, Blood Shadow dwells through the streets fighting for justice, but at the same time, avenging his great grandfather…
