Epic Hero Challenge

The Epic Hero Challenge will allow YOU the viewer to pick the next great Canadian Superhero!!  Choose from a collection of designs being developed by students from a local Toronto Elementary School. The students will reveal each week (friday) the new superheroes that you will be able to choose as the best Hero to join Team Epic on their journey. Revisit the site from Feb 1 - Mar 15 to vote who is the coolest, next best Epic Hero to appear on the show!!  All prizes being provided by Hero Certified Burgers at 79A Yonge Street.

Biography:

Michael Armstrong is the great grandson of the first man in our nation to go explore the mysterious, and magnificent space, which is Neil Armstrong.  Michael Armstrong was born in Toronto, Ontario on October 6, 1989. 

On the day that Neil Armstrong was on the moon. He had discovered a huge and magnificent cave deep under the moon’s crust. In that cave there were millions of mysterious glowing pieces of ice. The whole cave was filled with this mystifying ice. Neil Armstrong decided to bring one of the pieces of ice back to our Earth. When he did people was only allowed to touch the ice with a special kind of glove. When Michael Armstrong touched it with his bare hand, the ice sank into his body creating almost indestructible ice armor around his shoulders, arms and legs. His bleached hair turned blue, and huge ice wings spread out of his body letting him fly. Every where he flew small snow crystals fall out of his body.

After that accident more people are trying to find the same cave on the moon that Neil Armstrong found.  Now Michael Armstrong is called Ice Wing, and fights for justice, and freedom with Team Epic. Ice Wing may have almost indestructible ice around his body, but his main weakness is that he can’t keep his ice form for too long or he’ll turn back to his original body.  Still today no one has found the cave that Neil Armstrong found; it’s like that the mysterious cave never wants to be found again.
