Biography:

Red Ice thought he was born in Quebec City. His childhood was perfect until his 9th birthday. On that day, his parents told him that he was adopted from an Inuit village up north in the Yukon. His parents were seal hunters. They were mostly successful in every catch. Until the day Red Ice was born. On that day, three people from Toronto came and took Red Ice from his parents. The village was burnt to the ground, and only the newborn were alive including Red. At the age of ten, after a long hot bath, Red went into his room and to his horror, saw his hands were turning into water! His parents rushed him to the hospital, and the doctors gave him a serious examination. After the exam, his whole life changed. He had to wear a specially designed suit, because there was unknown substance in his skin! That substance made him very vulnerable to temperatures over 0C. The suit protected him from warm to extremely hot temperatures and maintained a cold environment for him.

As he aged, the kids at his school started making fun of his suit. At age 13, he couldn’t stand the mocking anymore. He decided to be someone special, well known, and respected. His answer, a superhero! As his 14th birthday got closer, he found out this cool trick he could show off at school! He could turn into ice, or snow in an instant, by using the substance as his advantage, and overcome the power of the suit, which allowed him to turn any of his body parts to snow or ice. At first he started showing his powers of to his schoolmates and made them all jealous. He goes to the principal’s office a lot, and he gets daily detention. He soon found a use that’s best for everyone, well everyone, but the villains. He finally made up his mind and started his hero career. The kids may not be mocking him anymore, but the fact that he is adopted, still made him very unhappy.

Red is a very humorous person, but still able to maintain his maturity. Red is very active and loves to participate in activities involving snow, ice, and art. Believe it or not, Red can also be shy, and timid sometimes. Also when it comes to serious situations, his maturity takes over. It’s as if he has two bodies, kid, and adult.
