Epic Hero Challenge
The Epic Hero Challenge will allow YOU the viewer to pick the next great Canadian Superhero!! Choose from a collection of designs being developed by students from a local Toronto Elementary School. The students will reveal each week (friday) the new superheroes that you will be able to choose as the best Hero to join Team Epic on their journey. Revisit the site from Feb 1 - Mar 15 to vote who is the coolest, next best Epic Hero to appear on the show!! All prizes being provided by Hero Certified Burgers at 79A Yonge Street.

Biography:
Calvin Nivlac was born on April 2, 1975, the same day the CN Tower was finished! His parents Cindy and Joe are scientists. When Calvin was born they were so happy Joe started to make a potion in honour of him. It could give you the powers to grow really tall or really short, the ability to jump to tremendous heights, and stretch a super distance. Joe got the idea of being really tall since Calvin was born the day the CN Tower was finished.
One day when Calvin was two years old, his parents took him to their lab. They couldn’t find a babysitter so they took him to work. When his parents weren’t paying attention, Calvin crawled around the lab. He knocked over lots of bottles and test-tubes. His parents heard the crashes and turned around. They rushed to Calvin who had the special potion. They weren’t fast enough. Calvin had already drank the potion. They waited until something happened. He grew really tall, then short again. That’s how Calvin got his powers.
Calvin saved a lot of people throughout his life. Also, he was very helpful in his community. People started calling him “Super Sizer”, which soon became his superhero name. He worked as a window washer because he could grow and reach the high windows. To activate his powers, Calvin would say “short” or “tall”. He could jump really high anytime he wanted; however, he had to control how high he went. Also, he could stretch anytime he wanted too.
The story of how Super Sizer became part of Team Epic goes like this. Team Epic went for a drive to a restaurant near Super Sizers house. They were going out for lunch. Super Sizer was there too. Team Epic was at a table ordering. Super Sizer was on his way in when he heard the bank alarm across the street. He immediately ran toward the bank and grew really tall. Team Epic heard the alarms and they ran outside too. When they got to the door of the bank they saw Super Sizer jump right in front of the thieves and grab them. He took them back to the bank and they were arrested. Team Epic was shocked! They congratulated him and asked him if he wanted to be on Team Epic. Super Sizer agreed and became the newest member of Team Epic.
