Brood poem aloneness
Posted by Master Brood on November 17, 2007
This is kinda cool...I thought-uh...maybe I’d share a new poem I wrote last night...by myself...alone.
Ok, here goes:
Aloneness - by Master Brood
All alone in my heart
The darkness that surrounds me
fills me with comfort.
AlonenessMy heart doesn’t ache, because it can’t
Nothing to yearn for, I’m all alone
Alone...like the dark.Aloneness
I know I’ll never die
like the dark, I will survive
...I am like the night...by myself...alone.Aloneness

Comma punctuation
Posted by Omniscient on November 15, 2007
it is good to be back on the earth planet., it allows me to learn more about your fascinating use of punctuation!.: for example; i have only known’ a comma to be the cloud of diffuse material surrounding the nucleus of a comet”! however (I have) just become recently aware that Toronto people use the *comma, before a co-ordinating conjunction “that joins independent? clauses. how fascinating`!?!

Thoughts in the tub
Posted by Captain Epic on November 11, 2007
Greetings Canadian citizens,
Why don’t I explain why I chose to write to you all today…
Well, I was in the tub one day, thinking about the greatness that each one of us possesses. Not necessarily in the sense of a great scientist or a Nobel Peace Prize winner, but the greatness within that gives each individual in this fair country the right to stand and be proud, as I am proud to defend my country from evil; to serve for a just and peaceful society; to display courage, even in the face of great terror; to humble myself before the greatness of citizens like yourselves…
So, I was thinking about that when I said to myself “Captain Epic, who are you?” and I answered “Why, I’m Captain Epic, of course. What a silly question that was.” Then, as I rinsed the soap from my eyes, it all became too clear. It wasn’t a silly question. Canada needs heroes, heroes who aren’t afraid to expose themselves. However, it wasn’t just I who needed to be exposed of, but the members of my team as well...so...I’m going to think on that and I’ll get back to you.
