Biography:

Born in 1950, Eve’s mother died after giving birth. Her father, a pilot for the Royal Canadian Air Force was sent to the north eastern tip of Ellesmere Island to parachute a new chemical, (proposed to aid the human physical being among the icy surroundings) at the base into the Alert Wireless Station the day after the birth and was left to bring the new born on the trip. As the crew dropped the supplies, the parachute became entangled with the Lancaster’s tail and brought the plane crashing down to the icy fields below. All nine of the crew members died, except for Glacier who survived the crash and was left bundled in her blanket on one of the snowy glaciers that cover the island.

When the parachute containing the chemicals finally landed, it burst open onto the snow, spilling over the infant’s body. Hours later, a pack of artic wolves made their way to scavenge the crash site and came upon the infant. Glacier grew up with the wolves and learned the ways of the arctic tundra’s habitat and environment. The older she grew, the more she could feel the chemical effects surge through her body. She was able to control the icy elements around her, living in and among the snow and ice; her body eventually came to consume the icy particles within her blood stream. From that point on, she could exist in any subzero temperature.

At the age of seven, the Royal Canadian Navy established an intercept facility on the island with the help of the Canadian Shield and came across the young Super. The Canadian Shield took Glacier under his wing and provided her with education and formal Super training. She fought alongside the Shield for many years; however she always wanted to return to her icy home.

In 1982, Glacier secured a position with the new CFS Alert, a key asset in the global ECHELON network as a Signal Intelligence Officer. There, she was able to defend her country from foreign and domestic threats, however was still able to fight alongside the Shield in many of his great battles until the year of 1985 when one of the great showdowns between Chromos and the Canadian Shield came to a standstill. A very pregnant Glacier fought as long and hard as she could. She gave birth in Dawson City and brought her children to Montreal to live near their father until the night her young infants were stolen while she slept.

Glacier went on a destructive rampage throughout the country in search of her children, but to no avail. She returned to her icy inhabitant where she lives still, deciphering messages and signals and defending her country in solitude.
