Biography:

Julian Styles trained with the (CSCO) Canadian Supers Cadet Organization (one of the classified stakeholders under the Canadian Cadet Movement) which was usurped by Villain’s Equity in 1968 among the changes and directorate of cadets that was established in Ottawa. Those cadets among the CSCO were positioned in Montreal for training. It was there that Julian’s heightened senses were unleashed. Without any of the established powers, Julian suffered from emotional turmoil and ridicule among his peers. His senses were late in their development and it wasn’t until the cadre of instructors, led by Chromos began their systematic approach, that Julian’s gifts were fully revealed.

Soon after graduation, Julian was hired by Villain’s Equity as a recruitment officer for the academy, searching for young supers across Canada and taking them (sometimes by force) back to Quebec for their training. He was hailed as the best, and was high on the police’s criminal list, for he could seek out supers from all reaches of Canada with evident powers or not and so he became known as “The Seeker”.

By his early twenties, Julian began taking young cadets out for training. At the age of 24, while out on a recruitment with two cadets, Julian was stopped by a patrolling Superhero. Although he brought the new supers in, he lost one of the young cadets in the Superhero ambush and had a nervous breakdown. After the incident, Julian was taken from recruitment duty and given his first and final warning from his superiors. As punishment, Julian was given the position as Cadet Guardian, where his senses would be in check and his instability would be closely monitored. After the escape of Hi-Jaq and Exile, it is believed that the Seeker looked to Chromos, his former instructor and only contact outside of Villain’s Equity for safety.
